Fragrance bottle
inspired by gold necklace
The bottle design of the
latest fragrance in the Estee Lauder private collection is topped with a
hammered gold cap, inspired by two family heirlooms.
Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of cosmetics giant Estee Lauder, originally designed
the Tuberose Gardenia eau de parfum Spray for herself and her closest friends.
The cap of the bottle is influenced by the design of a matching gold bracelet
and necklace set given to Aerin by her grandmother, who did not realise the
extent of Estee Lauder's fame until she was almost an adult, she told the
Toronto Star.
"The new private collection is designed for the modern woman of today who
understands that simplicity is and will always be the purest form of luxury and
elegance," Aerin Lauder said.
The Tuberose Gardenia eau de parfum combines the scents of the two flowers in
what the cosmetics company refers to as a "classical romantic floral" fragrance.
