Gold collection
to mark Onam
A series of promotions
and offers are to take place on Damas jewellery boutiques in the United Arab
Emirates in order to celebrate the harvest festival of Onam.
Damas' Onam collection was designed to mark the celebration and is made from
22-carat gold and diamonds.
The jewellery features the star motif and is encrusted with pave diamonds, and
is available as a pendant chain, bangle-bracelet, stud earrings and ring.
"As one of India's most important harvest festivals, Onam is a time of
thanksgiving and merry-making and so we at Damas present grand offers to make
your Onam celebrations even more exciting and memorable," commented Tawhid
Abdullah, managing director of Damas.
Promotions, started on August 5th and will continue until August 31st and
includes all Damas 22-carat boutiques in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait,
Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Onam activities traditionally include an elaborate feast served on banana
leaves, floral decorations and boat races.
