Gold eyewear on
sale in London
Gold eyewear will be
among the items available to buy at a private sale to be held by Paul Yaxley
Luxury Eyewear in September.
The event, on September 5th, will be at London's Royal Exchange in Threadneedle
Street. White, yellow and rose gold frames will be up for sale, the Harley
Street-based company has announced.
"Spectacles are jewellery for the face and our private sale gives discerning
individuals an unparalleled chance to obtain high quality gold eyewear, with
some rare and unusual pieces that will enhance their personal style," qualified
optician Paul Yaxley said.
Porsche Design, Gold and Wood, Lotos Gold and Lindberg Precious are among the
European designers whose glasses the company has said feature among the
collection that is up for sale.
Prices of the spectacles begin at around £1,000 and go up to £10,000, while Mr
Yaxley will be on hand to advise potential purchasers about their acquisitions.
It was recently revealed that jewellery retailer Tiffany & Co will be taking its
gold fashion jewellery - as well as the rest of its range - to a new store in
Japan, according to Fibre2Fashion.
