D'damas Gold and the
World Gold Council have together launched Collection G to help recognise
Friendship Day, it has been reported.
According to India Infoline News Service, each customer to purchase contemporary
gold jewellery from Collection G at a particular price will receive two tickets
to see a film of their choice at Fame Adlabs or Fun Republic in Mumbai, Pune,
Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Nasik, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
The scheme went live as of August 1st and gold consumers can take advantage of
the offer at D'damas stores and outlets.
"Friendship is a priceless possession and there can be no better way than to
make this bond more memorable with another cherished possession - gold,"
Madhumita Dutta, head of marketing development for World Gold Council, India
told the news service.
She added: "We are confident that through this offer our customers will not only
treasure the Collection G gift from their friend but also spend some memorable
moments with their buddy."
Last month, the annual gold jewellery fair Gold Expressions 2007 took place in
Delhi.
