Italian gold
trade fair wraps up in Vincenza
The Vicenzaoro Autumn
trade fair, showcasing new developments in gold jewellery design, ends today in
Vicenza, Italy.
Some 1,706 exhibitors took part in the Vincenzaoro fair, 1,336 of whom were from
Italy.
The autumn exhibition is designed to be a "privileged point of reference" for
both Italian and international jewellery retailers as they enter into
preparations for the Christmas season.
Presentations on retail innovation, sales strategy, marketing and gold as an
opportunity for international collaboration featured prominently on this year's
trade fair schedule.
A new exhibition, Gold from Peru, was also inaugurated at the event.
Since the beginning of 2007, the Vincenza Fair's gold and jewellery exhibitions
have been re-named Vincenzaoro.
The gold and jewellery exhibitions take place five times a year, with designated
spring, autumn and winter fairs, plus two Oromacchine shows in the summer and
winter to highlight the latest developments in metalworking machinery.
Vicenzaoro Winter and the winter Oromacchine trade shows will coincide in early
2008, taking place from January 13th to 20th.
