Montblanc
launches diamonds and gold

designer Montblanc has celebrated the launch of its diamond jewellery
collection, which features a number of gold items.
The New Straits Times reports that the theme for the gala dinner launch was a
Celebration of Stars and that the pinnacle of the event was the launch of
Montblanc's diamonds encased in 18-carat yellow and white gold.
Montblanc has designed four collections - Montblanc 4810, Etoile Secrete, Magie
en Blanc et Noir and La Dame Blanche.
"Finely gleaming pearls hang on smoothly-flowing linked chains or chunky rings
in 18-carat white gold. The clasps of the chain-link necklaces are playfully
modelled as interlocking Montblanc stars which act as an unusual catch on a
shorter necklace or as a purely decorative element on a longer necklace," the
newspaper reports, describing the Magie en Blanc et Noir collection.
The La Dame Blanche collection includes the Montblanc Diamond which features on
pendants, bracelets and rings with white diamonds and black nephrite jade in
18-carat white gold.
